S.I.P. (Services In the Park)

S.I.P. (Services In the Park) brings church to the heart of the neighborhood, where children play and families relax. On these days, the air fills with the smell of grilled food, the sound of gospel music, and the sight of neighbors greeting one another who usually only pass in silence. Under open skies, we hold a simple worship service with prayer, Scripture, and a short, hope-filled message.

Around the edges, something beautiful happens. Volunteer medical professionals offer basic health checks. Barbers and hairdressers give free trims. Community partners share information about housing, jobs, and elder care. Parents can sit and have their blood pressure checked while their children enjoy safe entertainment, games, or a live concert.

For many, S.I.P. becomes their first taste of church that feels safe and welcoming. One father told us he only came for the food but left with a referral to a clinic and a renewed desire to pray with his family. That is exactly our aim: to meet practical needs and spiritual hunger in the same shared space.
